架車剛過左大昌保養，今個月開始出去換油，噤arm 波箱油同偈油都要換，偈油就度度都有得換，但請問CVT波箱油要邊度可以換？

Just make sure you got the correct Honda HMMF transmission oil.

Simon 兄，請問你係唔不會續保（如有）呢？mine (2nd hand) will expire in april, so they may sell me some maint offer, etc when i go to check car (gear box) next week.

Sammy 兄係咪e隻？我地架車要幾多L，係咪都係好似偈油噤要放晒d舊油先入新油？請問Honda係咪都係入e 隻？想跟返原廠。

我都係今年7月份過左保養期, 因我行車哩數唔多, 一年大約 1萬km, 大昌sell 我買佢地套票, 買3張先比個9折喎, Standard-$3350 Supreme- $4150, 我梗係唔返, 早一個月係荃灣間香港汽車協會換油, check 車, 都係 $598. 仲送引擎倉清洗, 消毒及清洗冷氣系統. service 都ok, 不過, 最好平日去, 星期六,日勁多車 !!
係呢, 我部 2.0 應該用邊隻波箱油 ? 唔該晒 !

大昌is so expensive ah... But my warranty valid till Apr 2011... so I guess would still pay some for it... at least $500 "admin charge" for owner name changes !! so poor !!

original Honda transmission oil ATF-Z1 would be the safest to use.

I will not too. Only 4 months. I don't think your RG will be down within 4 months, if you make sure all oil are in good condition.

Also, somebody said CVT波箱, 2000年之前應該係用番ATF-Z1, 2000打後就用HMMF.

What will happen if i use incorrect gear box oil?

I really don't know the exact difference between the two.

But I won't said one is better than the other one, or either one can replace another one. Otherwise, Honda will just keep one of them, but not boh.

HMMF is made for Honda CVT for sure, and it is good for our Stepwgn which are with CVT.

And ATF-Z1 is made for Honda traditional transmission, and it is good for our Stepwgn with 4-Speed auto.

about the statement ATF-Z1 is good for the old Honda CVT.............The version I've heard is that when Honda CVT first came out, there was only 1 transmission oil, ATF-Z1 (HMMF was not exist), so that's the only choice for them at that time. After a few years, Honda has received alot CVT breakdown report, so they specially developed a new CVT transmission for their CVT which is HMMF. After HMMF came out to the market, all Honda CVT should use HMMF (new or old)

Due to the 2 oils' componds and viscosities are different, I won't say it is any good idea to use HMMF as ATF-Z1 since the working pressure and temperature of CVT and traditional auto transmission are different.

To ask me to use ATF-Z1 as HMMF or the other way around, it the same to ask me if I will use HMMF as engine oil to put into the engine....my answer is "NO".

打開車頭，响engine右邊望低小小，有支波箱油嘅油桿，同偈油果支差唔多，“蚊"出嚟，果d字係刻左响舊膠塞頂度。
