GPS machine, 70% depends on the software, 30% depends on the GPS machine itself. So first of all, I will decide what kind of software that I want to use. That's why, I would suggest to go for Duck St, regarding the budget is so tight, to take a look first. You will find many of GPS machines can run 2 to 3 kinds of software in one machine (may not be able to update the map).
Besides, DON'T be greedy to buy the GPS will a lot of functions, specially Bluetooth. IT WILL HANG AT ANYTIME. So, KISS is the rule of thumb, Keep It Simple Stupid!! That's all!!
