run A/C at 28-29 with circulation mode
slow accelerate and light brake
add earthwire
add high performance battery

I have done almost all of them, but it will not be improved much.
Just accept the fact and enjoy.  This is the way out
I think if it can be improved to $2/km than you should be happy
You can still add earth wire and F-16

you may need to lower the pressure if you feel the contact with the ground is not very good.
