have been using the iphone 4 for more than 24 hours, the screen is beautiful, generally no problem with the reception.

I don't think there is any problem with the phone, the small issues got blown out of proportion in the US.

It is still a very well made phone.

筆者自己亦是其中一名受害者，本來打算透過 CSL 1010 出機，但看到此情況立時卻步，那位電話中的服務員向筆者表示，因為每次啟動均需要向 Apple 美國公司方面傳送短訊確認開啟服務，所以需要收取 SMS 費用，如果在香港每次啟動需要收取 $3 短訊費，而在外國漫遊時啟動，則需要每次啟動收取 $4 短訊費！
當筆者問及，假如用家關機、重灌或升級 Firmware、甚至轉換 SIM 卡，那不是每次啟動均要收取短訊費，長遠而言「小數怕長計」豈非每月要多繳一百幾十元？該服務員表示沒有辦理，這是 Apple 規定的。


根據 CSL 1010 官方網絡表示，除了第一次啟動 FaceTime 功能需要收費外（預設是關閉的），以下情況仍會收取有關費用：

iPhone 4會於以下情況自動登記FaceTime(包括但不限於):
當未能成功登記；
FaceTime功能再次被啓動 (如曾經關閉)；
重新設定手機；
更換手機內SIM卡；
一段時間過後手機仍末能與中央伺服器成功連結
如果閣下有一段時間沒有透過手機使用流動數據服務
每次連結FaceTime通話將會被收取本地或漫游流動數據費用。
另外值得留意的是，該服務員亦有表示，當開啟了 FaceTime 服務後，手機會一直嘗試登記，而每登記一次便會傳送一次短訊，最多 15 次，直至登記完成為止。而當中每傳送一次短訊作登記，也會收取有關短訊費用。

筆者接收到此消息後，亦即時致電各大網絡商的官方公關公司求證，以下是各網絡商公關公司的回覆：

CSL/One2Free：Apple 是會要求用家傳送短訊開啟 FaceTime 服務的，客戶需要在啟用此服務時支付傳送短訊的費用。而 CSL 1010/One2Free 亦會密切留意市場反應。

SmarTone-Vodafone：我們不會就 FaceTime 服務收取用家任何費用！至於是否豁免了有關費用，我們不方便回應。

3HK：的確有這回事，Apple 是會要求用家傳送短訊開啟此服務的，不過如果是 3HK 的 iPhone 客戶，如果在香港啟動 FaceTime 服務，我們是會無限次豁免有關短訊收費；但如果在外國啟動，那就沒有辦法需要按漫遊短訊收費收取費用了。

It seems to me that even if it is CSL, it only cost HK$3 to activate.
Not a big deal.
(i understand that say if we upgrade firmware or reset the phone they may have to charge this fee again, but come on, it is not $30 or $300, only HK$3....and i don't imagine you will pay more than HK$15 before you change to iphone 5).
