I think RG3 will be better, but that depends on your budget to decide with one you can get.

1) both RG1 and RG3 are i-vtec
2) early and late RG has different setting on this, and D or S will work differently on +/- too.
3) OE has many different stereo units equipped, mine only come with CD with AUX in
