My opinion is no need to buy very big. Just enough room would be ok.
e.g. my family has 4 + 1 help. At least 3 room.

You are still young, 降低自己生活質素 to help yourself to save more money is a very good idea. (if you can accept your living standard to be lowered)

When you are getting older and when you have kids in the future, it would be hard to lower your living standard.
