It is really not about speeding...  is driving at 61km/h speeding in your opinion?

But in a 50km/h zone you can get a ticket for 57km/h when doing 61km/h (-4km/h).

So th eidea of a detector is just to avoid getting a ticket in speed trap zones that go from 100 --> 80 or 70 --> 50.
