Ching, when you press a button on the screen, does it have a "beep" sound?  I turned it on but still no "beep" sound.  I think my headunit has a problem too.

For some chings reference, I just found out the latest firmware of the headunit is 3.1.0 but the version of my headunit is 1.2 (original headunit came with my RK).  Then I contacted Kenwood Hong Kong for verification.  They will tell me is the latest version 3.1.0 good for my headunit or not becuase this information is written in simpified Chinese so I want to make sure it can be used before upgrade.  I will provide an update again after I receive the reply from them.  Anyway, here is the link of the file:

Kenwood replied the latest version is good for my headunit but not recommeded to upgrade because the latest version will not fix my problem, also there is a risk to make the headunit die.
