um.....because i had an argument with my wife last night....because we have a 放濕機 already, she think it is not necessary to "control" the humidity...I said it is better to keep humidity at 60....i thought the Sharp machine can "lower" the humidity as well as "increase" the humidity in order to keep it at 60.

Now you tell me that Sharp machine cannot "lower" the humidity, my argument doesn't work anymore.

Air cleaner 放function is useful during the low humidity level, say we turned on heater on last week, it made humidity low (dry), so air cleaner can perform it's function well during this environment
