forget another important factor:

供車 interest rate and hire purchase (HP) or leasing to buy ur car

new car is around 2.x to 3.x% /yr,
2nd hd car is more expensive like  4.x-6.x%/yr ( 2008 data)

pls chk few banks  to confirm + compare......in some cases, buy a new car WILL be more cheaper.......!

i don't know why, there are many '07 rg in 28car but CLAIMED '08 in hk...

maybe  '07 made but '08,'09 registerd ........

we can say ALL  水貨 shops are bad guys...but i can't accept this case law...

If our budget is tight, it is better not to buy instead of buying used cars from overseas (like Japan).  Those selling second hand cars are mostly bad guys.  I encounter so many of them already! When you sell your car to them they just give you very small amount of moneys as if they are buying scrap metal.  However, if you buy used cars from them, they set a very unreasonable high price which suggests that the value of those cars depreciate so little over the years, let alone the "internal problems" of the cars they sold.  C-Hings are all advised to be careful when you appraoch those used cars dealers or water goods stores.
