If I want to bring my baby to Japan, China, and Macau, do I need re-entry permit? Or only ID is good enough?

The more correct one should be ...

You MUST apply child ID (under 11 of age) at the same time when you apply SAR passport ..... you cannot apply Passport alone .... you must fill in the form of chi ...

Yes....The background story is we are not eligible to apply a People's Republic of China ppt. According to the Basic Law, simply say that HK SAR GOV. can issue her own ppt. to her permanent resident. Moreover, HK SAR ppt's observation said that "The holder of this ppt. has the right of abode in HK". Then how to support this observation? That is the HK Permanent ID card issued by Registation of Person Office HK under HK Immigration Dept. Therefore, if you want to apply a HK SAR ppt., you must have the Permanent HK ID card first.....So, HK Immigration Dept will reguest you to apply an Minor Permanent HK ID card (without holder's photo) & HK SAR ppt. simultaneously for childern under the age of 11......
